I was watching a show on tv this week and I was terrified of what i've seen on that show. The show is called Animal Cops. I do not usually wach this show ,but i was going through the chanals and there was this horse that they were trying to rescue from the owner aggressive treatment and neglection. I've never seen a horse that sick and weak. It was terrible to see how he was treated and the conditions he lived under.
It makes you think ,what human being would do that to those animals?. Its insane, he didn't a decent amount of food in two months and had no water at all;only when it rained he would drink from a little bowl that was there. I can't even describe how dirty it was where he was locked up. The neighbors started to notice the smell and saw that he was locked up with no food. I think that those people shouldn't be allowed to have any animals, no animal deserves to have that kind of treatment.
I have watched this show too and am disgusted. I saw a horse out in the desert and its ribs were jutting out and its spinal cord was too. It was years ago and I wish that I had called someone. I just don't get it. Scum like that deserve to be in jail ...if they treated a child like that, they could serve time. Unfortunately, the jails are overcrowded as it is and animals are not put in the same class as people so they are not treated as victims as much. BUT....if you think about that show, it almost seems like the animals DO get more attention than some of the kids out there that I have seen!
