So thinknig about what i could write and looked all around to see if i could find something .. about nature? or just about random things! Suddently the driver in front of slams on the brake and turns the stirring weel to the right to pull over on the side of the road. I for an instance didn't realize what was happening and i stoped as quick as i could. i didn't see anything until i pulled over and got out of my car to see what was going on and why he stopped so quickly without a serious reason, I thought! As i walked over , for a second i was thinking that the driver could be drunk and that i should go back to my car .Although when i was about to turn back to my car, i cought a glimpse of a little animal that bearly made a noise. It was a baby deear which the driver in front of me had ran over. The little animal was transversing the road and the driver couldn't stop fast enough.
It was then when i started to think more about what we learned in class, about environment, predetors and all that stuff. I was wondering then.. is there such thing as a safe environment for any kind of creature, or everything is just about pray and predetors.
I came to the conculsion that there was no such a thing as a safe or unsafe environment .. it's only how well they care for themselvs. It's how well they learn from their leaders , and how well they follow what they learned. I once read that the deear teaches her baby the ways of living by showing it step by step. So in that case , it could've been safe for that baby deear if he knew what to do. Or it could also be a case where the baby deear got lost, so all the surrounding was unknoun and unsafe.
I always find it interesting to see which animals adapt better to having humans in their environment. Deer seem to just do okay, but I've heard that coyotes use the freeway system to run long distances at night and expand their range. Peregrine falcons, which like to build their nests in high places, tend to do very well in cities with skyscrapers.
